Retro Advertising - Freshmen

Image
Students were asked to re-create the famous Think Small advertisement   for the  Volkswagen Beetle , originally created by Helmut Krone with the copy written by  Julian Koenig  at the  Doyle Dane Bernbach  (DDB)  agency  in 1959. The principles learned in this course will be the foundation to multiple design projects. While recreating these advertisements, students start to explore the use of the grid in Graphic Design.
